About the Civil War
The Civil War was one of the most bloodiest, horrifying wars in the U.S. history, but it also showed that the U.S. were strong and courageous. It was between the North and South and they were fighting because of state rights, westward expansion of land, and slavery. Lincoln was president at the time and promised he wouldn't get into a war with the South, but when they bombed Fort Sumter, that's when he broke his promise. Thus, the Civil war begun.
